Exam PRSI annually – Free exam. Did you know that PRSI contributors may be entitled to one free dental examination per calendar year.

 

Medical card holders

Are you a medical card holder?

Medical card holders are entitled to a range of ental services free of charge:

One free dental examination per calendar year 
Two fillings per calendar year
Root canal treatment on Anterior teeth (front six teeth): subject to approval 
Extractions
Dentures: subject to approval.

 

Prices:

Examination, Scale & Polish (including necessary radiographs) - €60
Examination (including x-rays were appropriate)  - €40
Scale and Polish - €40
Periodontal Treatment - €90 per visit
Radiographs - No charge 

 

 

Restorations

Amalgam filling restorations (silver): Small €80 | medium €90 | large €100

Composite filling restorations (white): Small €90 | medium €100 | large €110

 

 

Extractions

Routine (including post-op care) €90
Surgical (including post-op care) €120-150

 

 

Dentures

Acrylic - €300 - €600
Cobalt chrome (metal) €700 - €900

 

 

Crowns

€500 - 700 per unit  

 

 

Root Canal Treatment

Incisors - €300
Premolar - €350
